Rengrel 90 tablet is used for the following:

• Prevention of heart attacks in individuals with a history of these conditions
• Reducing the risk of strokes for patients who have previously suffered one
• Management of acute coronary syndrome, a condition that reduces blood flow to the heart
• Maintaining proper blood flow throughout the body when combined with a low-dose aspirin regimen and healthy lifestyle changes

• It should be swallowed whole with water.
• Refrain from crushing or chewing the tablet.
• Maintain consistency by taking it at the same time each day.
• Avoid discontinuing this medicine without consulting your doctor first.
• Consumption can be done with or without food as per your convenience.

Rengrel 90 Tablet is taken orally.

Rengrel 90 Tablet contains ticagrelor (90 mg), which acts on the body in two main ways:

• P2Y12 Receptor Antagonist: Ticagrelor is categorised as a P2Y12 receptor antagonist. This means it works by blocking a specific receptor on the surface of platelets in your blood, known as the P2Y12 receptor.
• Inhibits Platelet Aggregation: By blocking this receptor, ticagrelor prevents a process called platelet aggregation. In simpler terms, it stops the platelets from sticking together and forming clots, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes.
