Ticus 90 Tablet is used for the following:

• Reducing the risk of heart attack in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

• Minimising the chance of stroke in individuals who have ACS

• Lowering the likelihood of death due to cardiovascular causes in ACS patients

• Prevention of atherothrombotic events in those suffering from ACS

• Reducing the rate of heart attacks, strokes, and cardiovascular death in people with a history of myocardial infarction (MI)

To use Ticus 90 Tablet effectively, follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Refrain from crushing, chewing, or breaking the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Ticus 90 Tablet contains ticagrelor (90 mg). Here's how it works:

• Inhibits Platelet Activation: Ticagrelor works by inhibiting the activation of platelets. Platelets are small blood cells that clump together to form clots. By preventing their activation, ticagrelor reduces the risk of clot formation.

• Prevents Platelet Aggregation: Ticagrelor prevents the clumping of platelets. It achieves this by blocking the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, which is required for platelet aggregation.

• Maintains Blood Flow: By inhibiting platelet activation and aggregation, ticagrelor maintains the smooth flow of blood through the vessels, hence reducing the risk of harmful blood clots.

• Store Ticus 90 Tablet in its original packaging to protect it from moisture.

• Maintain an ideal storage temperature of 20°C to 25°C.
