It is essential for people whose adrenal glands cannot produce sufficient hormones. Take it as prescribed, at the same time each day, and continue taking it regularly, as stopping it suddenly can be dangerous. Use the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Monitoring your blood pressure regularly, maintaining adequate salt intake as advised, and carrying an emergency card or medical alert bracelet indicating your condition and medication support safe treatment alongside this medicine. Avoid extreme heat and strenuous exercise without consulting your doctor.
Tell your doctor if you have any heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes or infections before starting this medicine, and about any other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you experience unusual weight gain, severe headache, vision changes or muscle weakness. This medicine requires regular monitoring by your doctor. Report any side effects that persist or become serious. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
