It contains tamsulosin, which relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck to ease urination, and dutasteride, which helps shrink the prostate gland over time. Take it as directed by your doctor and continue for the full duration prescribed, as the full benefit may take several months to appear.
Reducing fluids in the evening, limiting caffeine and alcohol, and not delaying trips to the toilet can help alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems or are taking other medicines. As it can lower blood pressure, you may feel dizzy on standing up, so rise slowly. This medicine is for use in men only, and women who are or may become pregnant should not handle the capsules.
