Tasulin 0.4 mg Tablet is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) in men, helping to improve urinary symptoms such as difficulty urinating, weak stream, and frequent urination.
This medicine contains tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes prostate and bladder muscles. Take it once daily as prescribed, preferably 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or open it. Continue taking this medicine regularly for optimal benefit.
Maintain good hydration and avoid caffeine, as it may worsen urinary symptoms. Limit fluid intake before bed to reduce nighttime urination. Perform pelvic floor exercises as recommended. Maintain regular check-ups with your doctor to monitor prostate health.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, heart disease, liver disease, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if you experience severe dizziness, fainting, chest pain, or difficulty in urination. This medicine may cause sexual dysfunction in some men. Pregnant women should not handle this medicine.
