Uripro 0.4 Capsule is used to manage the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate, in men. It contains tamsulosin, an alpha-1 blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to pass urine; it does not reduce the size of the prostate.
Take this capsule by mouth, at the same time each day as prescribed, swallowing it whole without crushing or chewing, as it is a prolonged-release formulation. Continue taking it regularly, even if your symptoms improve, to maintain control of your urinary symptoms.
Avoiding caffeine and alcohol, limiting fluids in the evening, and going to the toilet at set times can help manage urinary symptoms alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, low blood pressure, or are due to have cataract surgery, before starting this medicine. Report dizziness or fainting, especially on standing, or any unusual ejaculation problems to your doctor.
