Tamsufine 0.4 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of benign prostatic hyperplasia symptoms such as improving urine flow, reducing frequent nighttime urination (nocturia), and providing relief from the urgent need to urinate.

Here's how you should take Tamsufine 0.4 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule.

Tamsufine 0.4 Tablet is taken orally.

Tamsufine 0.4 Tablet contains Tamsulosin (0.4 mg), which works in your body as follows:

• Blocking Alpha-1 Receptors: Tamsulosin selectively blocks alpha-1 receptors in the smooth muscles of your prostate gland and bladder neck. By blocking the alpha-1 receptors, tamsulosin relaxes the muscles, making it easier for urine to flow through the urethra. This action helps improve symptoms associated with BPH, such as difficulty in starting urination, weak urine stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently.

• Store Tamsufine 0.4 Tablet at room temperature below 30 °C.
