CompositionDynapres 0.4 Capsule is used to manage the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). It is a single-ingredient alpha-blocker containing tamsulosin.
It relieves difficulty starting to pass urine, a weak urine flow, frequent urination and the need to wake at night to pass urine. Swallow the capsule whole, without crushing or chewing it, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Limit tea, coffee and other fluids in the evening, avoid holding urine for long, and rise slowly from sitting or lying down to avoid dizziness.
Before starting, tell your doctor about your medical conditions and allergies and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Attend any monitoring appointments advised by your doctor. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
