Rosumac Gold 20 Capsule contains three active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This component works by permanently blocking an enzyme known as COX-1. As a result, it reduces the production of thromboxane A2, a substance that causes blood platelets to stick together, potentially forming clots. By doing so, aspirin helps prevent blood clot formation that could lead to heart attacks or strokes.
• Clopidogrel (75 mg): Clopidogrel is a prodrug, meaning it needs to be converted into its active form in the liver. Once activated, it binds to a receptor found on platelets, P2Y12, thereby inhibiting platelet aggregation caused by ADP (a compound that induces platelet aggregation). This action provides additional support for preventing blood clots.
• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): Rosuvastatin is part of a group of medicines called statins. It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme critical to cholesterol production in the body.
