My Pill Tablet is used to manage hormone-related conditions in women, including acne, oily skin, and excessive hair growth. It also helps regulate irregular menstrual cycles, especially in polycystic ovary syndrome, by improving hormonal balance and supporting cycle regularity.

Swallow My Pill Tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

My Pill Tablet is taken orally.

My Pill Tablet may cause side effects such as breast pain or tenderness, mood changes, weight gain, headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, bloating, and fatigue. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Management Of Side Effects:

Most of the side effects resolve on discontinuation of the tablet and are temporary and, in the majority of cases, do not require medical attention. If you are concerned about any of the above-mentioned side effects or experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

My Pill Tablet contains the following components:

Cyproterone acetate (2 mg): Cyproterone is an anti-androgen. It helps regulate the effects of male hormones (androgens) in the body to address conditions such as acne and excessive hair growth.
Ethinylestradiol (0.035 mg): It is a synthetic form of estrogen, a female sex hormone. In combination with cyproterone, it helps regulate the hormonal balance in women. This improves acne and hirsutism (excessive hair growth), providing a comprehensive approach to managing these conditions.

Pregnancy

My Pill Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy. If you discover that you are pregnant while using this tablet, cease its usage promptly and reach out to your doctor. If you intend to become pregnant, you may discontinue this tablet anytime.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding women are not recommended to use My Pill Tablet. Inform your doctor while this tablet is prescribed to you during breastfeeding.

Liver

My Pill Tablet is not recommended to be used in patients with liver disease or liver impairment. If you have a liver problem, inform your doctor before this tablet is prescribed to you.

Kidney

Those with kidney impairment are also not recommended to take My Pill Tablet. If you have a kidney impairment, inform your doctor before this tablet is prescribed to you.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

My Pill Tablet is unlikely to affect the mental or physical abilities required to operate machines or drive a vehicle. Still, avoiding attentive tasks is recommended if you experience any side effects after taking this tablet.

Allergy

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to ethinylestradiol, cyproterone acetate, or any other ingredients in My Pill Tablet. Read the label and check the ingredients before taking this tablet to avoid allergic reactions.

Children

My Pill Tablet can be used by females under 18 years of age. However, it is not intended for females before menstruation.

Older Patients

Older patients should cautiously take My Pill Tablet due to the increased risk of blood clots. They may also take other medications that can interact with this tablet. Inform your doctor and discuss your prescription medications before taking this medicine.

Drug-Drug Interactions

My Pill Tablet can interact with medications, including

Antiepileptics, such as primidone, phenytoin, barbiturates, carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, felbamate, and topiramate. The concomitant use can reduce the effectiveness of this tablet.
Anti-tubercular medications such as rifampicin. The concomitant use can reduce the effectiveness of this tablet.
St. John’s wort, the herbal remedy. The concomitant use can reduce the effectiveness of this tablet.
Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine. The concomitant use can influence the effectiveness of this tablet.
Another hormonal contraceptive. Your doctor may recommend a different treatment as this pill is also a contraceptive, and concomitant use can affect the effectiveness of medications.

Drug-Disease Interactions

My Pill Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

Abnormal vaginal bleeding: This tablet may cause vaginal discharge and worsen the condition.
Blood clots: This tablet may increase the risk of blood clots and worsen the condition.
Migraine: This tablet may cause severe headaches and worsen the existing migraine.
Diabetes with damaged blood vessels: This tablet may worsen diabetes.
Kidney problem: This tablet may worsen the existing kidney problem.
Liver problem: This tablet may worsen the existing liver problem.
Porphyria (blood disorder): This tablet may worsen the condition.
Stroke: This tablet can increase the risk of stroke.

Daily Dose

Take the dose of My Pill Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you forgot to take My Pill Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one now and resume your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
