CCM Tablet is used for the following purposes:

• Managing calcium and vitamin D deficiencies
• Supplementing calcium and vitamin D in postmenopausal women to minimise bone loss risk
• Boosting calcium intake when dietary consumption falls short
• Counteracting folate deficiency anaemia
• Lessening the likelihood of neural tube defects during pregnancy

CCM Tablet is taken orally.

CCM Tablet consists of three active ingredients:

• Calcium Citrate (250 mg): This water-soluble calcium salt has high bioavailability. It easily breaks down in the stomach, enabling calcium absorption in the intestine. Calcium contributes to building and maintaining bone mass and regulating muscle contraction, nerve signal transmission, and blood clotting.
• Folic Acid (0.05 mg): A B-vitamin essential for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and foetal development. It helps prevent megaloblastic anaemia caused by folate deficiency and reduces the risk of neural tube defects during early pregnancy.
