DUTARESP 2.5ML PACK OF 5 MISTPULES is used to manage breathing problems in COPD, asthma, and bronchitis.

Uses of DUTARESP 2.5ML PACK OF 5 MISTPULES are:

• COPD: Used to manage breathing difficulties in COPD.
• Asthma and Bronchitis: Helps relieve symptoms of asthma and bronchitis.
• Easier Breathing: Relaxes the airway muscles to improve airflow over the long term.

Follow these instructions while using DUTARESP 2.5ML PACK OF 5 MISTPULES:

• Pour the contents of one smartule into the chamber of your nebuliser.

• Make sure your nebuliser is clean and properly assembled before use.

• Sit in a comfortable position and place the mouthpiece between your lips.

• Breathe normally through your mouth while the nebuliser is operating.

• Continue until all the medicine in the chamber has been used up.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to avoid dryness.

• Clean your nebuliser after each use according to the manufacturer's instructions.

DUTARESP 2.5ML PACK OF 5 MISTPULES are administered via inhalation using a nebuliser.

DUTARESP 2.5ML PACK OF 5 MISTPULES contain two active ingredients:

• Levosalbutamol (1.25 mg): This is a short-acting beta-2 agonist that stimulates the beta-2 receptors in the lungs. When these receptors are stimulated, the smooth muscles surrounding the airways relax, allowing the airways to widen and making breathing easier.

• Ipratropium bromide (500 mcg): This is an anticholinergic agent that blocks the action of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors in the airways. By preventing acetylcholine from binding to these receptors, it stops the narrowing of airways and promotes bronchodilation (widening of the airways).

• Store at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Use within 15 days of opening the foil pouch.

• Discard any unused solution.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Stay well-hydrated throughout the day, as adequate fluid intake helps thin mucus in the airways, making it easier to breathe when you have COPD or asthma.

• Avoid smoke, strong perfumes, and air pollution, as these can trigger breathing difficulties and reduce the effectiveness of your nebuliser therapy.
