Salbair I Neb 1.25 Transpules 2.5ml

Salbair I Neb 1.25 MG Transpules 2.5 ML are used for the following:

• Treatment of COPD
• Management of asthma symptoms
• Relief of bronchitis
• Easing breathing difficulties in respiratory conditions
• Controlling repetitive breathing problems
• Maintenance therapy for chronic lung conditions
• Improvement of lung function in respiratory disorders

Follow these instructions while using Salbair I Neb 1.25 MG Transpules 2.5 ML:

• Twist off the top of the transpule carefully.
• Squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer chamber.
• Use the medication immediately after opening the transpule to avoid loss of efficacy.
• Connect the nebulizer to an air compressor and use a face mask or mouthpiece as directed by your doctor.
• Inhale the medicine slowly and deeply through the nebulizer until the dose is finished.
• After use, gargle or rinse your mouth with warm water to avoid fungal infections.
• Do not use this medicine to relieve sudden breathing problems; use a rescue inhaler for that.
• Follow up regularly with your doctor for monitoring and further instructions.

Salbair I Neb 1.25 MG Transpules 2.5 ML are administered via inhalation using a nebuliser.
 

Salbair I Neb 1.25 MG Transpules 2.5 ML contain two active ingredients:

• Levosalbutamol (1.25 mg): This is a short-acting beta-2 agonist that stimulates the beta-2 receptors in the lungs. When these receptors are stimulated, the smooth muscles surrounding the airways relax, allowing the airways to widen and making breathing easier.
• Ipratropium bromide (500 mcg): This is an anticholinergic agent that blocks the action of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors in the airways. By preventing acetylcholine from binding to these receptors, it stops the narrowing of airways and promotes bronchodilation (widening of the airways).

• Store at room temperature (below 30°C).
• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Use within 15 days of opening the foil pouch.
• Discard any unused solution.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Stay well-hydrated throughout the day, as adequate fluid intake helps thin mucus in the airways, making it easier to breathe when you have COPD or asthma.
• Avoid smoke, strong perfumes, and air pollution, as these can trigger breathing difficulties and reduce the effectiveness of your nebuliser therapy.
