DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML is used for the regular management of breathing symptoms in COPD.

Uses of DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML are:

• COPD: Used to manage COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
• Bronchospasm: Helps relieve bronchospasm in lung conditions.
• Airway Maintenance: Used regularly to keep the airways open and prevent narrowing.

Follow these instructions while using DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML:

• Use this medicine with a nebuliser device only.

• Store the respules in their foil pouch until immediately before use.

• Check that the solution is colourless to light yellow before use.

• Do not use if the solution appears discoloured, cloudy, or contains particles.

• Empty the entire contents of one respule into the nebuliser chamber.

• Breathe normally through the mouthpiece until all the medicine is used up.

• Rinse your mouth with water after each use.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your condition.

DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML contain two active ingredients that work together to help you breathe more easily:

• Ipratropium (0.5 mg): This is an anticholinergic medicine that blocks the action of acetylcholine, a chemical in your body that causes airways to narrow. By preventing this narrowing effect, ipratropium helps keep your airways open and relaxed.

• Levosalbutamol (1.25 mg): This is a selective beta2-adrenergic agonist that works by stimulating specific receptors called beta2 receptors in your lungs. This stimulation causes the smooth muscles surrounding your airways to relax, which allows your airways to widen and makes breathing easier.

Follow these instructions while storing DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML:

• Keep DUOHALE RESPULES 2.5ML in the protective foil pouch until ready to use.

• Store below 30°C, away from excessive heat.

• Protect from light exposure.

• Keep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Discard if the solution appears discoloured or contains particles.

• Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water (6-8 glasses daily) helps keep mucus in your airways thinner, making it easier to clear when you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Avoid respiratory irritants: Steer clear of smoke, strong perfumes, and air pollution, which can trigger bronchospasm and worsen breathing difficulties.
