Bularid M Tablet 10

Bularid-M Tablet is used to treat allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. It alleviates symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and eye irritation. The combination of bilastine and montelukast effectively reduces allergy-induced inflammation and discomfort, helping to provide relief from persistent allergy symptoms. However, it is not intended for acute asthma attacks.

Here are some guidelines to follow while taking Bularid-M Tablet:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.

• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Bularid-M Tablet is taken orally.

Bularid-M Tablet is composed of two active ingredients that work in synergy to reduce allergic reactions:

• Bilastine (20 mg): This component operates as a potent antihistamine. It binds to the H1 receptor in your body and blocks it. The H1 receptor is responsible for triggering allergy symptoms when activated by histamine—a substance produced during an allergic reaction. By blocking this receptor, bilastine helps prevent symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, and red eyes.

• Montelukast (10 mg): Montelukast acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotrienes are substances released during an allergic reaction and can cause inflammation in your airways and increased mucus production. By specifically blocking the cysteinyl leukotriene CysLT1 receptor in your body, montelukast reduces these inflammatory actions, thereby offering relief from allergic rhinitis symptoms.

• Store your Bularid-M Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect it from moisture and light to maintain its effectiveness.

• Keep the medicine out of children's reach, ensuring it is stored in a secure place.

• Remember to always check the expiry date before use, as expired medicine may not be effective.

• If you're dealing with allergic rhinitis, try to avoid known allergens in your diet and surroundings. This includes dust mites, pet dander, certain foods or pollen.

• Regular exercise can strengthen your immune system and potentially reduce the severity of allergic reactions. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity like brisk walking every day.
