Bilazap M Tablet is used to manage allergic conditions such as hay fever, allergic rhinitis, asthma, pet dander allergy, and dust mite allergy. It helps reduce inflammation in the airways and skin, relieving symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, and skin rashes. The tablet is also effective in conditions like rhinoconjunctivitis and urticaria, improving comfort by controlling allergy-related inflammation.

• Bilazap M should be taken exactly as your doctor recommends.
• Swallow it as a whole with water.
• Do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
• It can be taken one or two hours before food or fruit juice intake.
• Take it at a fixed time for the best results.

• Bilazap M tablet contains two active ingredients: Bilastine and Montelukast. Let's understand how each of these ingredients works in the body.
• Bilastine is an antihistamine. When you come into contact with an allergen (the substance that triggers an allergic reaction), your body releases a chemical called histamine. Histamine binds to specific proteins in your body, causing allergic symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny/blocked nose, and watery eyes. Bilastine blocks these histamine receptors, preventing histamine from attaching to them. 
• In addition to histamine, another group of chemicals called leukotrienes are involved in allergic reactions. Leukotrienes cause inflammation and swelling in the airways, leading to wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath in individuals with asthma or allergic rhinitis. Montelukast works by blocking the proteins to which leukotrienes bind, thereby reducing inflammation and preventing the airway constriction caused by these chemicals.
