Ocid 20 Capsule may interact with:

• Drugs used to treat fungal infections (Ex. itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole or voriconazole)
• Drugs used to treat heart problems (Digoxin)
• Drugs used to treat anxiety and epilepsy (Diazepam)
• Medicines used to treat HIV infection (Ex. atazanavir, saquinavir, nelfinavir)
• Drugs used to treat tuberculosis (Rifampicin )
• Drugs used to treat epilepsy (Phenytoin)
• Drugs used to treat prevent organ rejection after transplant (Tacrolimus) 
• Drugs used to treat intermittent claudication (Cilostazol)
• Drugs used for Blood thinning (Ex. warfarin, clopidogrel)
• Drugs used to treat Cancer (Erlotinib, methotrexate)

No interactions with food have been established for Ocid 20 capsules.

Contact your healthcare provider before taking Ocid 20 capsules, if you suffer from the following: 

• Pass black stools (blood-stained faeces)
• Have osteoporosis (condition in which bones become weak and brittle)
• Vitamin B12 deficiency
• Fructose intolerance
• Gastric cancer
• Hypomagnesemia
• Neuroendocrine tumors

The recommended dose of Ocid 20 capsules is once daily on empty stomach or as directed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. Following the prescribed dosage and consulting your doctor before exceeding it is essential.

If you take an extra dosage of Ocid 20 capsules by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or a nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include nausea, sleepiness, dizziness or vomiting., sweating, confusion, headache, dry mouth, etc.

If you forgot to take an Ocid 20 capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, skipping the missed one is recommended now and resuming your regular dosage pattern. Only increase your dosage after consulting your doctor.
