Dexona Tablet 30

Dexona Tablet is used to reduce inflammation and calm an overactive immune system.

Uses of Dexona Tablet are:

• Inflammatory and Autoimmune Conditions: Reduces inflammation in conditions such as arthritis and severe asthma.
• Allergic and Skin Conditions: Calms severe allergic reactions and skin, eye and gut inflammation.
• Cancer Support: Used in certain cancers such as leukaemia and lymphoma as part of combination treatment.

Follow these instructions while taking Dexona Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
• Do not take more than your doctor's recommended dose.

Dexona Tablet is taken orally.

Dexona Tablet contains dexamethasone (0.5 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Ensure you store Dexona Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep the medicine in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Always keep Dexona Tablet out of reach of children.
• Make sure to utilise the medicine before its expiry date.

• If you are diagnosed with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or asthma, adopting a balanced diet rich in antiinflammatory foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and fish can help manage inflammation.
• Since prolonged use of Dexona Tablet might lead to bone loss, ensure you maintain a diet high in calcium and vitamin D; regular weightbearing exercises like walking or weightlifting can also aid in preventing osteoporosis.
