Dexona Tablet is used to manage inflammation, allergic reactions, asthma, autoimmune disorders, and certain severe skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and atopic dermatitis. It contains dexamethasone, a corticosteroid that calms an overactive immune response and reduces swelling, redness, and irritation.
It is also used in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and eye inflammation (uveitis), and in some cancer-related inflammation, sometimes as part of combination treatment. It is taken by mouth exactly as prescribed and should not be stopped suddenly.
Taking it with food can help reduce stomach upset, and the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually under medical advice rather than stopped at once.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or other medicines you take, and report any side effects promptly.
