Ticastro 90 Tablet 10 is used to manage acute coronary syndrome.

Uses of Ticastro 90 Tablet 10 are:

• Acute Coronary Syndrome: Helps prevent clots after a heart attack or unstable angina.
• After Stenting: Helps protect blood flow after angioplasty and stent placement.

Follow these instructions while taking Ticastro 90 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet unless specifically advised by your doctor.

• Take the tablet at the same time each day as prescribed.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor for advice.

Ticastro 90 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Ticastro 90 Tablet 10 contains ticagrelor (90 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks P2Y12 receptors: Ticagrelor blocks specific receptors called P2Y12 on the surface of platelets, which are tiny blood cells involved in clotting.

• Rapid antiplatelet effect: The medicine begins working within 30 minutes to 2 hours after you take it, providing relatively quick protection against unwanted blood clot formation.
