Cidmus 100 Tablet is used in the treatment of long-term heart failure in adults whose heart is not pumping as well as it should. It helps reduce the risk of dying from heart-related causes and lowers the need for hospital admission because of worsening heart failure.
It contains sacubitril and valsartan, which work together to relax the blood vessels and reduce the strain on the heart. Take it as prescribed and do not stop it without medical advice. It must not be started until at least 36 hours after stopping an ACE inhibitor medicine.
Day-to-day habits support heart failure treatment. These include keeping salt and fluid intake to the levels your doctor advises, weighing yourself regularly to spot fluid build-up early, staying gently active as advised, and attending all follow-up appointments and blood tests.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, low blood pressure, or high potassium levels, and about all other medicines you take. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function and blood pressure regularly. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
