Regular use helps lower the risk of serious complications such as stroke, kidney disease and heart failure. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can cause a dangerous rise in blood pressure.

Tell your doctor about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report a very slow pulse or marked breathlessness. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
