Rozucor EZ Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults, helping lower the risk of heart-related complications and supporting long-term cardiovascular health.

Uses of Rozucor EZ Tablet are:

• High Cholesterol Management: Lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
• HDL Improvement: Helps raise beneficial HDL cholesterol levels.
• Familial Hypercholesterolaemia Management: Helps lower LDL cholesterol in genetic forms of very high cholesterol.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly even if you feel well.

Rozucor Ez 20 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Rozucor Ez 20 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component works by blocking a protein called Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1 (NPC1L1) in the small intestine. This action prevents cholesterol absorption from food, leading to decreased delivery of intestinal cholesterol to the liver and reduced cholesterol levels in the blood.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): This is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, commonly known as a statin. It blocks an enzyme in the liver that is responsible for producing cholesterol. By reducing this enzyme's activity, rosuvastatin decreases cholesterol production in the liver cells. It also increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, allowing more removal of bad cholesterol from the bloodstream.

• Store Rozucor Ez 20 Tablet 10 at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. Choose foods like oats, nuts, fruits, vegetables and fatty fish (like salmon) that can help lower your cholesterol levels naturally.

• Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week, such as brisk walking, swimming or cycling, which can help raise your HDL (good cholesterol) and lower your LDL (bad cholesterol).
