Crevast EZ 20 Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood cholesterol levels

• Management of mixed dyslipidemia

• Reduction of elevated triglycerides

• Increasing good cholesterol (HDL) levels

• Lowering the risk of heart attacks and strokes

• Management of familial hypercholesterolemia

Follow these instructions while taking Crevast EZ 20 Tablet:

• Take this tablet daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or divide the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

Crevast EZ 20 Tablet is taken orally.

Crevast EZ 20 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to lower cholesterol:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component works by blocking the absorption of cholesterol in your intestines. It prevents the uptake of dietary and biliary cholesterol (cholesterol from food and bile) without affecting the absorption of triglycerides or fat-soluble vitamins.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): As a statin medicine, rosuvastatin inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a key role in producing cholesterol in your liver. By reducing the amount of cholesterol made by your liver, it helps increase the expression of LDL receptors on liver cells, allowing them to remove more LDL cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Store Crevast EZ 20 Tablet at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from moisture and light.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol—include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins to help manage your blood cholesterol levels alongside your medicine.

• Engage in regular moderate physical activity (like brisk walking) for at least 30 minutes most days of the week, which can help raise your HDL (good cholesterol) and support the effectiveness of Crevast EZ 20 Tablet.
