CompositionRosuvas EZ 20 Tablet is used to manage high levels of blood fats (cholesterol and triglycerides) in adults, alongside diet and lifestyle changes. It is a combination medicine containing rosuvastatin (a statin) and ezetimibe (a cholesterol absorption inhibitor).
Together they lower harmful LDL cholesterol more than either alone and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and hardening of the arteries. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks and more vegetables, fruit and dal. Regular exercise, a healthy weight and quitting smoking also help.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Do not use it in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
