CompositionLosar-H Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults and to help reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. It also helps protect kidney function, particularly in people with diabetes.
It combines losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic (water tablet) that helps the body remove excess fluid. Together they lower blood pressure and improve blood flow.
Take it at the same time each day, and continue it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Reducing salt and staying active support control.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, diabetes or gout before use. Stand up slowly to reduce dizziness, and your doctor may check your kidney function and blood salts, including potassium, from time to time.
