Rozavel EZ 20 Tablet is used for the following:

• Decreasing high total cholesterol levels

• Managing elevated LDL cholesterol

• Reducing high levels of apolipoprotein B and triglycerides in primary hyperlipidaemia patients

• Increasing HDL cholesterol

• Lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and arterial revascularisation procedures in patients with multiple risk factors but without evident coronary heart disease.

Here are the instructions for taking Rozavel EZ 20 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food.

Rozavel EZ 20 Tablet is taken orally.

Rozavel EZ 20 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to effectively manage high cholesterol levels:

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): As an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a crucial role in cholesterol production in the liver. By doing so, the production of LDL is reduced, while the level of HDL in your bloodstream is increased.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This ingredient is cholesterol absorption inhibitor, works by inhibiting the absorption of dietary and biliary cholesterol in your small intestine. By doing so, it reduces the amount of cholesterol delivered to the liver, leading to less cholesterol storage in the liver and increased clearance of cholesterol from your blood.

• Store Rozavel EZ 20 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a closed container that is shielded from light and moisture.

• The medicine should be kept out of reach of children.
