Nexpro Rd 40 Capsule 10

Nexpro RD 40 Capsule is used for conditions related to excess stomach acid, including GERD, stomach ulcers, and Zollinger–Ellison syndrome. By combining acid suppression with improved stomach motility, it helps relieve heartburn, indigestion, bloating, and irritation of the digestive lining. When taken on an empty stomach, it supports faster symptom relief and healing of the food pipe and stomach lining.

• Take Nexpro RD 40 Capsule with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule while consuming it.

This capsule is taken orally.

Nexpro RD 40 Capsule contains the following components:

• Domperidone (30 mg): It is an active ingredient in this capsule, is a D2 receptor antagonist. It exerts its activity by blocking dopamine receptors in the gastrointestinal tract, particularly in the area known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ). By blocking these receptors, domperidone helps to alleviate symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and digestive discomfort associated with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Esomeprazole (40 mg): It is another active ingredient in the capsule and is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the production of stomach acid by inhibiting the action of the gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid secretion in the stomach. By reducing stomach acid production, esomeprazole helps to relieve symptoms related to excess stomach acids, such as heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers.
• Combination of domperidone and esomeprazole in this capsule provides a comprehensive approach for managing gastrointestinal symptoms. Domperidone helps to address issues related to motility and nausea, while esomeprazole reduces stomach acid production and helps with acid-related symptoms.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
• Store it at a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius.
• Please keep it away from the reach of children.

• Eat smaller portions of food at spaced intervals of time.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. As alcohol will increase stomach acid production, and cigarette smoke will affect the functioning of the oesophagus valve (food pipe), which controls the backward movement of food from the stomach to mouth.
• Maintain a healthy weight, as this will reduce heartburn symptoms.
• Do regular exercise.
• Wear loose-fit clothing, especially around the waist, to avoid stomach acid going back to the mouth.
• Practice yoga and meditation to be stress-free. Stree also plays a key role in peptic ulcers and heartburn.
• Avoid high-fat food, chocolates, and spicy foods as they trigger GERD. 
• Avoid trigger foods like citrus fruits, tomatoes, peppermint, onion, garlic, tea and coffee to control heartburn.
• Avoid sitting continuously, and take breaks for 5 mins for every 60 minutes. This physical activity will reduce GERD & Heartburn.
