Rosuless Ez 20/10 Tablet 10

ROSULESS EZ 20/10 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Managing high cholesterol levels in blood

• Reducing risk of heart attacks and strokes

• Lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) levels

• Decreasing triglyceride levels

• Increasing good cholesterol (HDL) levels

• Managing primary hyperlipidaemia

• Treating mixed dyslipidaemia

• Complementing dietary changes for cholesterol control

Follow these instructions while taking ROSULESS EZ 20/10 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly even if you feel well.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

ROSULESS EZ 20/10 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

ROSULESS EZ 20/10 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component works by blocking a protein called Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1 (NPC1L1) in the small intestine. This action prevents cholesterol absorption from food, leading to decreased delivery of intestinal cholesterol to the liver and reduced cholesterol levels in the blood.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): This is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, commonly known as a statin. It blocks an enzyme in the liver that is responsible for producing cholesterol. By reducing this enzyme's activity, rosuvastatin decreases cholesterol production in the liver cells. It also increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, allowing more removal of bad cholesterol from the bloodstream.

• Store ROSULESS EZ 20/10 TABLET 10 at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. Choose foods like oats, nuts, fruits, vegetables and fatty fish (like salmon) that can help lower your cholesterol levels naturally.

• Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week, such as brisk walking, swimming or cycling, which can help raise your HDL (good cholesterol) and lower your LDL (bad cholesterol).
