Novastat Ez Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Novastat Ez Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• You can take it with or without food.

Novastat Ez Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower cholesterol:

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This is classified as a statin that works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a key role in cholesterol production in your liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, rosuvastatin reduces the amount of cholesterol your body makes naturally.

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component works by blocking the absorption of cholesterol in your intestines. It inhibits a specific transport protein that normally helps move dietary and bile cholesterol from your intestines into your bloodstream, thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol delivered to your liver.

• Store Novastat Ez Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to maintain quality.

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated and trans fats. Choose whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins to help lower your cholesterol levels alongside this medicine.

• Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week, such as brisk walking or swimming, as physical activity helps raise "good" HDL cholesterol and lower "bad" LDL cholesterol.
