Roseday Ez Tablet 10

Roseday EZ Tablet is used in adults and children to lower high cholesterol and triglyceride levels, reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes in those with or at high risk of heart disease, and manage certain inherited high-cholesterol conditions.

Uses of Roseday EZ Tablet are:

• High Cholesterol: Helps manage high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides (hyperlipidaemia).
• Heart Protection: Reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes in people with or at high risk of heart disease.
• Reduced Surgery Need: Helps lower the need for heart surgery in patients with heart disease.
• Inherited Cholesterol Disorders: Helps manage familial hypercholesterolaemia, an inherited condition causing very high cholesterol.

To get the best results from Roseday-EZ Tablet, please follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or split it.

• Always consult your doctor before changing your dosage or stopping this medicine.

Roseday-EZ Tablet is taken orally.

Roseday-EZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component localises in your small intestine, where it works to reduce the absorption of dietary cholesterol. This means less cholesterol is delivered to your liver from your diet, reducing liver cholesterol stores and increasing the clearance of cholesterol from your blood.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): Rosuvastatin inhibits an enzyme in your body called HMG-CoA reductase, which is crucial for making cholesterol. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin helps reduce blood cholesterol levels. It also increases the number of liver LDL receptors on cell surfaces, enhancing the uptake and breakdown of LDL ("bad" cholesterol). Moreover, it inhibits the production of VLDL in your liver, reducing total VLDL and LDL particles.

• Store Roseday-EZ Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to prevent exposure to light and moisture.

• Don't keep it in the bathroom where heat and dampness can affect it.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Ensure to use the medicine before the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Adopt a low-fat diet: Since Roseday-EZ Tablet is prescribed for managing high cholesterol, make sure you eat a low-fat diet. Avoid foods high in saturated fats like butter, cheese, and fatty meats.

• Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help lower your cholesterol levels. Try to incorporate moderate physical exercise like walking or cycling into your daily routine.
