Mirbeg 25 Tablet is used to manage the symptoms of overactive bladder in adults. It is a single-ingredient beta-3 adrenergic agonist containing mirabegron.
It helps reduce sudden urges to pass urine, frequent urination during the day and night, and leakage of urine (urge incontinence). It is an extended-release tablet, so swallow it whole with water, without crushing, chewing or splitting it, with or without food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when symptoms improve.
Limit fluids in the evening, cut down on tea, coffee, alcohol and fizzy drinks, and practise pelvic floor exercises or bladder training as your doctor advises.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, severe kidney or liver disease or difficulty passing urine, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Your doctor may check your blood pressure regularly. Tell your doctor immediately if you have severe difficulty passing urine or a fast heartbeat. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
