Lupin Mira 25 Tablet 10

Lupin Mira-25 Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of overactive bladder syndrome

• Management of urinary urgency

• Reducing frequent urination

• Controlling urge urinary incontinence

• Decreasing episodes of nocturia

• Relaxing the bladder muscles during the storage phase

• Increasing bladder capacity

• Reducing involuntary bladder contractions

• Delaying the initial urge to void

• Improving bladder function in adults.

Follow these instructions while taking Lupin Mira-25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or divide the tablet.

• Take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for the duration prescribed by your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about how to take this medicine.

Lupin Mira-25 Tablet is taken orally.

Lupin Mira-25 Tablet contains mirabegron (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Beta-3 Adrenergic Receptor Stimulation: Mirabegron selectively activates beta-3 adrenergic receptors found in the bladder. These receptors, when stimulated, help control bladder function.

• Detrusor Muscle Relaxation: By activating the beta-3 receptors, mirabegron causes the detrusor smooth muscle in the bladder to relax during the storage phase of the urinary bladder fill-void cycle.

• Increased Bladder Capacity: The relaxation of the detrusor muscle increases the bladder's ability to hold more urine before signalling the need to urinate.

• Reduced Involuntary Contractions: Mirabegron decreases the unwanted bladder muscle contractions that cause sudden urges to urinate.

• Delayed Urge To Void: By relaxing the bladder muscle, this medicine helps delay the initial sensation of needing to urinate urgently.

• Store Lupin Mira-25 Tablet below 30°C

• Store in the original packaging away from direct light and moisture.

• Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use it after the expiration date printed on the package.

• Limit caffeine intake: Reducing coffee, tea, and fizzy drinks can help decrease bladder irritation and reduce the urinary urgency and frequency symptoms of overactive bladder.

• Practice timed voiding: Try to urinate at regular intervals (every 2-4 hours) rather than waiting until you feel a strong urge, which can help retrain your bladder and reduce episodes of urgency.
