Megatas 25 Tablet 10

Megatas 25 Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of overactive bladder
• Managing urinary urgency
• Reducing frequent urination
• Controlling urinary incontinence
• Relaxing overactive bladder muscles
• Increasing bladder storage capacity
• Managing involuntary bladder contractions
• Treatment of neurogenic detrusor overactivity

Follow these instructions while taking Megatas 25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
• Take this medicine at the same time each day.
• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Megatas 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Megatas 25 Tablet contains mirabegron (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Beta-3 adrenergic receptor stimulation: Mirabegron selectively stimulates beta-3 receptors found in the bladder muscle, causing them to relax during the storage phase of urine.
• Bladder muscle relaxation: By activating these specific receptors, mirabegron helps the bladder muscles relax, which reduces involuntary contractions that cause sudden urges to urinate.
• Increased bladder capacity: Through the relaxation of bladder muscles, this medicine increases the amount of urine your bladder can hold, which helps reduce the frequency of urination throughout the day.
• Reduced urgency episodes: By enhancing the storage capacity of the bladder and decreasing involuntary muscle contractions, mirabegron effectively reduces the number and intensity of urgent needs to urinate.

• Store Megatas 25 Tablet at room temperature below 30°C.
• Keep the medicine protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Limit caffeine intake (in tea, coffee, and fizzy drinks) as this can worsen overactive bladder symptoms by irritating your bladder.
• Practice pelvic floor exercises (also called Kegel exercises) regularly to strengthen the muscles that help control urination.
