Azibact 100 Readymix Suspension is used to treat bacterial infections, mainly in children. It is a single-ingredient macrolide antibiotic.
It is used in middle ear infections (otitis media), tonsillitis, throat infections (pharyngitis), community-acquired pneumonia, skin infections and certain gastrointestinal and uncomplicated genital infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Give it to your child in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, based on the child's age, weight and condition.
Shake the bottle well, measure the dose with the measuring device provided, and complete the full course even if your child feels better, to help prevent the infection returning.
Before giving this medicine, tell your doctor about your child's existing health conditions and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report nausea, diarrhoea or rash to your child's doctor promptly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
