• Antacids: Medicines containing aluminium or magnesium, such as Aludrox or Maalox, may reduce the absorption of azithromycin, thus lowering its effectiveness.

• Blood Thinners: Warfarin's effectiveness may be enhanced when given along with this medicine, potentially increasing the risk of bleeding.

• Heart Medications: The concentration of digoxin in your child's blood may rise if administered with this medicine, possibly leading to toxicity.

• Ergot Alkaloids: Ergotamine and dihydroergotamine, medicines used for migraines, could interact with Azicip 100 Oral Suspension leading to ergotism, a condition causing muscle pain and cramps.

• There are no specific food interactions with Azicip 100 Oral Suspension. Your child can consume any food while on this medication.

Azicip 100 Oral Suspension interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver Disease: Children with liver disease should take this medicine cautiously as it might worsen their condition.

• QT Prolongation: It's advisable to use this medicine carefully in children having a history of QT prolongation as it might further lengthen the QT interval causing serious heart complications.

• Myasthenia Gravis: Azicip 100 Oral Suspension might exacerbate symptoms in children diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a disorder causing muscle weakness.

The daily dosage of Azicip 100 Oral Suspension for your child should be as directed by your doctor, who will consider factors like the severity of the condition and your child's response to the medicine. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and never exceed it without consulting the doctor.

If you accidentally give your child more than the prescribed dose of Azicip 100 Oral Suspension, they might experience an increase in common side effects such as vomiting, nausea, or diarrhoea. If this happens, inform your doctor.

If a dose of Azicip 100 Oral Suspension is missed, give it to your child as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your child's regular schedule. Never give an extra dose without consulting your doctor.
