Tacva 1 Capsule 10 is used for the following health conditions:

• Preventing organ rejection in liver and kidney transplant patients.

• Inhibiting Calcineurin: The tacrolimus-FKBP-12 complex then inhibits a calcium-dependent enzyme called calcineurin.

• Suppressing T Cell activation: By inhibiting calcineurin, tacrolimus suppresses the activation of T cells, which are crucial components of the immune system.

• Reducing Cytokine gene expression: The suppression of T cell activation leads to a reduction in cytokine gene expression. Cytokines are proteins that play a pivotal role in cell signalling during immune responses.
