Sompraz D 40 Capsule is used to manage acid reflux and indigestion.

Uses of Sompraz D 40 Capsule are:

• Acid Reflux: Reduces excess stomach acid to relieve burning in the chest and upper abdomen.
• Peptic Ulcers: Supports healing of ulcers by reducing stomach acid.
• Indigestion: Relieves bloating, sour burps and abdominal discomfort.

• Follow your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration.
• Take Sompraz D 40 Capsule at least one hour before meals.
• Avoid- foods that increase acidity, lying down immediately after eating.
• Have your last meal at least two hours before bedtime.

Sompraz D 40 Capsule is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water.

Sompraz D 40 Capsule contains two active ingredients: esomeprazole and domperidone.

• Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that inhibits the enzyme responsible for acid production in the stomach, thereby reducing the amount of acid that flows into the food pipe.
• Domperidone helps increase stomach and intestinal movement, which helps prevent acid reflux.
