Montina-L Syrup is used to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, providing relief from symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and congestion. It is also used to treat chronic idiopathic urticaria, alleviating itchy, red bumps on the skin. Additionally, Montina-L helps prevent asthma attacks, offering effective relief for both respiratory and skin allergies.

Montina-L Syrup is taken orally.

Montina-L Syrup contains two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes an allergic reaction. By doing so, it reduces allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, itching eyes/nose/skin, runny nose, and sneezing.

• Montelukast (4 mg): Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by blocking substances in your body called leukotrienes that are responsible for inflammation and swelling in the airways and nose. Inhibition of these leukotrienes helps in reducing inflammation and other symptoms of asthma and allergies.

• Store Montina-L Syrup in a cool and dry place, ideally not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to avoid exposure to air and light.

• Place it out of reach of children to ensure their safety.

• If your child is consuming Montina-L Syrup to manage allergies, ensure they consume a diet low in allergenic foods like eggs, shellfish, peanuts, etc. This can help reduce the severity of allergic reactions.
