CompositionMactor Asp 75 Capsule is used to lower high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is a combination medicine containing atorvastatin (a statin) and aspirin (an antiplatelet).
This medicine is especially useful for people with existing heart disease or a high risk of cardiovascular events. It also helps improve blood flow and slows the narrowing of blood vessels. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well.
Choose foods low in saturated fat (less ghee, butter, fried snacks and red meat) and add vegetables, fruit, oats and dal. Avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer, bleeding problems or liver disease, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist that you take this medicine before any surgery or procedure. Report unusual bleeding, bruising, black stools or unexplained muscle pain. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
