Since long-term steroid use can weaken bones and raise blood sugar, a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, along with regular weight-bearing exercise, is recommended. Try to avoid close contact with people who have infections such as chickenpox or measles, as this medicine can lower your resistance to illness.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, glaucoma, a history of stomach ulcers, or any ongoing infection. Report unusual mood changes, blurred vision, swelling of the legs, or slow wound healing. This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
