Composition

Ambroxol (15 Mg) + Guaifenesin (50 Mg) + Levosalbutamol (0.5 Mg)

Ascoril LS Junior Syrup is used to ease breathing and relieve a productive cough and chest congestion in conditions such as bronchitis and asthma. It contains ambroxol and guaifenesin, which thin and loosen mucus so that it can be coughed up more easily, and levosalbutamol, which relaxes the airway muscles to improve airflow, helping children clear mucus.

Give it in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before use, and tell them about any medical history or other medicines. Mild restlessness or stomach discomfort may occur.

Ascoril LS Junior Syrup is used to relieve symptoms of bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis in children. It helps ease breathing difficulties, reduces coughing, and clears chest congestion by loosening mucus, making it easier for young patients to breathe comfortably.

Give Ascoril LS Junior Syrup with water.
Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
Keep the bottle well-capped after use.
This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Ascoril LS Junior Syrup is given orally.

Common side effects of Ascoril LS Junior Syrup include diarrhea, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, stomach upset, headache, palpitations (increased heart rate), and muscle cramps.

Management Of Side Effects:

Some side effects are temporary and generally harmless, which resolve on discontinuing Ascoril LS Junior Syrup. Taking this syrup with food can help combat these side effects. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this syrup, consult your doctor.

Ascoril LS Junior Syrup contains the following components:

Levosalbutamol sulphate (0.5mg): It is a bronchodilator which helps relax and widen the muscles in the airways. It works to relax the airways regardless of the trigger, protecting the narrowing of the airways.
Ambroxol hydrochloride (15mg): It is a mucolytic agent that works by thinning and loosening the mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up. It helps to break down the complex mucus structures into smaller and more manageable particles, making it easier for the cilia in the respiratory tract to clear them away.
Guaifenesin (50mg): It is an expectorant that also helps to loosen the mucus in the airways, making coughing easier. It increases the production of thinner mucus and moves it out of the lungs.

Liver

Ascoril LS Junior Syrup should be used cautiously, particularly in children with a history of liver diseases or conditions. The dosage adjustment may be necessary by the doctor.

Kidney

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

Diuretics such as Furosemide, Bumetanide, Spironolactone when taken together with the Ascoril LS Junior Syrup may interact and increase the effect of Ascoril LS Junior Syrup
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors like Isocarboxazid, Phenelzine, Selegiline should be avoided when taking Ascoril LS Junior Syrup as it may have an effect on the vascular system
Tricyclic antidepressants such as Amitriptyline, Doxepin when taken together with the Ascoril LS Junior Syrup as it may have an effect on the vascular system

Daily Dose
