Telma H Tablet 15

Telma H Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and support cardiovascular health. It combines Telmisartan, which relaxes blood vessels, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that removes excess fluid from the body. This combination helps control blood pressure effectively and reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

• Swallow Telma H tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

• Telma H tablet is administered orally.

Telma H Tablet 15 composition contains Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Hydrochlorothiazide: It is a diuretic medication. It helps your body eliminate excess water and salt through increased urine production. By doing so, it helps reduce the volume of fluid in your blood vessels, which in turn lowers blood pressure. It also relaxes and widens blood vessels, making blood flow easier.
• Telmisartan: Telmisartan belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It blocks the hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow. This relaxes and widens the blood vessels, reducing blood pressure and allowing blood to flow more easily.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Telma H tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Too much salt can increase blood pressure, so limit your intake to less than 5 g daily. Avoid adding extra salt to your food.
• Avoid processed foods high in sodium.
• Follow a DASH diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products. 
• Consume potassium-rich foods such as bananas, oranges, spinach, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes. Potassium helps counterbalance the effects of sodium on blood pressure.
• Limit your alcohol consumption.
• Quitting smoking can prevent hypertension and improve your heart health.
• Chronic stress can contribute to elevated blood pressure. Reduce stress with stress management techniques such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, or engaging in hobbies that help you relax. 
• While the effects of caffeine on blood pressure can vary from person to person, it's generally advisable to limit caffeine intake.

• Do not take Telma H and Aliskiren simultaneously. It can increase the risk of low blood pressure, high potassium levels, and kidney problems.
• Inform your doctor if you have asthma.
• Do not take potassium supplements without consulting your doctor.
• Do not stop taking Telma H tablet without a doctor's advice.
