Telma-AM H 40 Tablet is used to treat resistant high blood pressure by combining three active agents that relax blood vessels, widen arteries, and remove excess fluid. This triple-action approach effectively lowers blood pressure and reduces the immediate risk of heart attack and stroke. It is intended for patients who require multi-drug therapy to maintain stable cardiovascular health.

Use Telma-AM H 40 Tablet in the following way:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• Continue taking it even if you feel well, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Telma-AM H 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Telma-AM H 40 Tablet is comprised of three active ingredients:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, amlodipine functions by relaxing the smooth muscles in the walls of your blood vessels. This relaxation leads to vessel dilation and subsequently lowers blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This diuretic works by increasing urine production, which reduces blood volume and consequently decreases blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It inhibits the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By blocking this constriction, telmisartan enables blood vessels to relax and widen, thus reducing blood pressure.

• Store Telma-AM H 40 Tablet in a cool place, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.
