Tuspel LS Syrup is used to manage productive (wet) cough associated with respiratory conditions like bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps relieve chest congestion and coughing by loosening phlegm and making breathing easier.
It contains levosalbutamol, ambroxol, and guaifenesin. Take it by mouth as prescribed by your doctor, using the measuring cup provided for accurate dosing. Continue taking it for the full duration recommended, even if your chest congestion improves, to ensure complete recovery.
Drink plenty of warm fluids like water or broth while taking this syrup, as hydration helps thin mucus and makes coughing it up easier. Avoiding smoke, dust, and cold air can also support respiratory comfort.
Before taking this syrup, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart rhythm problems, thyroid issues, or liver or kidney disorders. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe shortness of breath or persistent chest pain.
