Respicure-LS Junior is used to treat wet (productive) coughs in children caused by chest congestion and narrowing of the airways. It is especially helpful during bouts of bronchitis or asthma flares, as it helps the child clear sticky phlegm and reduces the ""tightness"" in the chest that makes breathing difficult.
This syrup contains Levosalbutamol, a bronchodilator, Ambroxol, a mucolytic, and Guaifenesin, an expectorant. Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles in the lungs to open the airways, Ambroxol thins the thick mucus, and Guaifenesin helps the child cough that mucus out. This triple action ensures the chest is cleared quickly and comfortably.
Measure the dose carefully using the provided cap as prescribed by your pediatrician. It is best taken after food. Encourage your child to drink plenty of warm water, as hydration helps the medicine thin the mucus more effectively. Inform your doctor if the child experiences a rapid heartbeat or tremors after taking the syrup.
