Telma 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Telma 40 Tablet contains Telmisartan (40 mg), which acts on the body through the following mechanisms:

• Angiotensin II Blockage: Telmisartan works by obstructing the action of a hormone called angiotensin II. This hormone usually causes blood vessels to tighten, which in turn increases blood pressure.
• Blood Vessel Relaxation: By blocking the receptors of angiotensin II, telmisartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels. This allows blood to flow more easily through them, reducing your blood pressure.
