Scalpe+ Shampoo 75Ml

Scalpe Plus Shampoo is used to treat dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Uses of Scalpe Plus Shampoo are:

• Dandruff: Controls dandruff-causing fungi and reduces flaking.

• Seborrhoeic Dermatitis: Manages the scaling and itching of seborrhoeic dermatitis.

• Scalp Health: Soothes itching and supports a healthy scalp.

• Wet your hair and scalp with clean water.
• Apply an adequate amount of shampoo to your scalp.
• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp for approximately one minute.
• Rinse thoroughly with water.
• Avoid contact with your eyes. In case of contact, rinse with water immediately.

Scalpe Plus Expert Anti Dandruff Shampoo is applied topically.

Scalpe+ Shampoo 75Ml composition contains Ketoconazole (2 %) + Zinc Pyrithione (1 %) as its active ingredients.

• Ketoconazole (2% w/w): It is an azole derivative. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungus. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungi. It effectively reduces scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation and promotes a healthier scalp.
• Zinc pyrithione (ZPTO) (1% w/w): It works by raising the amount of copper inside the cells and causes harm to important iron-sulphur protein clusters necessary for the growth and metabolism of the fungus.

• Store this shampoo at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the shampoo away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals.
• Avoid excessive use of styling products or heat treatments.
• Practise good hygiene and regularly wash your hair.
• While keeping your scalp clean is essential, avoid washing your hair excessively, as it can strip your scalp of natural oils. 
• When washing your hair, use lukewarm water instead of hot water. Hot water can strip your scalp of moisture and exacerbate dandruff.
• Stress can worsen dandruff, so practise stress-reduction techniques like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises.
