SERVIL LS JUNIOR Syrup is used to treat productive cough and chest congestion in children caused by asthma, bronchitis or other respiratory infections. It helps clear the lungs by thinning thick mucus, making it more manageable to cough up.
This medicine combines a mucolytic, an expectorant and a bronchodilator: the mucolytic and expectorant thin and loosen mucus so it can be coughed up more easily, while the bronchodilator relaxes the muscles around the airways, together relieving chest congestion, nasal blockage and throat irritation.
Give this syrup to your child using the measuring cup provided, at the dose your child's doctor prescribes based on age and weight, with or without food.
Tell your child's doctor if your child has a heart condition, high blood pressure or diabetes, as some ingredients in this syrup can affect these conditions. If your child's cough persists for more than a week, is accompanied by high fever, or brings up blood, seek medical advice.
