This medicine helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems, and may also be used to help prevent migraine. Swallow it whole with water, with or without food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or chew it, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can raise blood pressure or cause chest pain.
