Tazloc-CT 6.25 Tablet is a combination of two drugs that efficiently decrease blood pressure: telmisartan and chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ARB). It acts by inhibiting the hormone angiotensin, which causes blood vessels to relax. The blood can flow more freely and the heart can pump more efficiently as a result. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that helps the body rid itself of excess water and electrolytes. It also relaxes blood arteries and enhances blood flow over time.
